Nature & Environment   With bachelor's and master's degrees in Zoology, the publisher has a fondness and great respect for authors who can communicate scientific aspects of the world around us to non-scientists and not-yet-scientists. Richly illustrated, their books communicate in clear, compelling language, relating the science to other topics their readers find interesting, such as art, history and literature. Building an appreciation of nature, they help lay the foundation for a desire to protect it.

Dayton Publishing is a small indie press, founded in 2013. Before starting her own company, publisher Linnea Dayton spent 30 years in the publishing industry in various editorial roles and as an author and a book producer. With design, editing, and production assistance as needed, she now publishes the work of talented authors and illustrators.

Local History and Memoir  Author and historian Thomas J. Noel ("Dr. Colorado") wrote, "History is not just something that happened long ago and far away. History happens to all of us all the time. Local history brings history home, it touches your life… ." Dayton Publishing is proud to be building a line of small volumes of local history and memoir, entrusted to us by authors who have fascinating true stories to tell.
